From February 19 through February 22, Factory 52 will host a multi-day Lunar New Year celebration across the campus, with events taking place at The Gatherall and Aces Pickleball Bar & Grill. For residents, it's an opportunity to experience a global tradition woven naturally into the rhythm of campus life.
The celebration begins with thoughtfully curated dining experiences that highlight bold, globally inspired flavors and the communal spirit at the heart of Lunar New Year. These ticketed dinners are designed to slow things down, encourage conversation, and bring people together around the table–an essential part of how the holiday has been celebrated for generations.
As the weekend unfolds, the campus transforms with cultural programming that brings Lunar New Year traditions to life. A lively Asian Market, dragon and lion dances, martial arts demonstrations, and face-changing performances fill the day with color, movement, and meaning. The energy continues into the evening with modern cultural expressions like K-pop performances and karaoke, blending tradition with contemporary celebration in a way that feels both respectful and fun.
To close out the weekend, Mahjong open play offers a more relaxed way to connect. Long associated with strategy, luck, and social interation, Mahjong provides a thoughtful and engaging way to wrap up the Lunar New Year festivities while spending time with neighbors and friends.
